What equipment do you need?

When does next season start? Length of the season?

The current season will run April 13 - June 23, 2026.


What or who are the Gunners and the Snipers?

House League division teams are named "Gunners" & the competitive division teams are "Snipers".


 

What does it cost to play house league?

Registration fees $295.00 for U7/U9 to U18 (2 sessions per week).
Full-time goalies pay half!


Helmet - CSA approved helmet is required.

Full face protection is required, either using a full visor or a cage.


Do you need to play to be a ref or can you just be a ref?

You don't need to be a registered player to be a referee, but you do have to be 14 years old in the calendar year of the current season and you must take the referee training course (date and time are announced on the website). Preference is given to officials playing in Gunners (House League). If you are interested in being a ref please contact refcoordinator@reddeerrollerhockey.com


Are the goalie pads provided?

Goalie equipment is provided for those that do not have equipment of their own. We have various brands, which are all CSA approved.
